This is my piece, 'Sinking Ships', and has been drawn onto old wood (like a sunken ship!). The detail is amazing as they've managed to use the texture of the wood too. Absolutely great show, hats off to Frankie for pulling this one off.

useless friend looks stunning... awww im gutted really am...congrats to everyone and congrats to frankie n herakut for putting on what i am sure will be fantastic show! amount of work you all have put in i am sure will be worth it come opening night!...s That's mine!! ;D Managed to keep it a complete secret from the missus, when we got there she went to that piece like a moth to the flame. I said 'good job that one is coming home with us then' and she burst into tears in the middle of the gallery! Safe to say she loves Herakut. I'm on a definite promise tonight Great to chat with everyone last night, show of the year for me by far. Best atmosphere at any show I can think of for a while...I guess largely because it was all collectors rather than people looking to flip a print. Now just the wait til I can take it home!

What a show!
Probably the first I have ever been to where I would have been happy with any of the pieces hanging on my wall!
Seriously, if I had two hours before the show opened and I could buy any piece there I wouldn't know which to chose, I think I would let people in one by one, let them choose till one piece remained, then that would be mine, and I would be one happy chappy!
Having said all that I am extremely pleased with my piece 'Sisters'
Basement room was a little creepy, the movie 'SAW' came to mind!
Nice to meet up with a few people, the senior such as wizbong and the infants such as graeme501!
Also nice to meet up with Nick Walker again, and to chat to Faulk and Jasmine.
Well done Frankie, great night mate, Cheers!

PUD, you hit the nail on the head. I would have taken any piece. The wood pieces partlcularly worked well, Gary's piece downstairs was one of the stars of the show for me.
