Anyone know how things are selling at the Faile Show? Just wondered with so many big pieces and the prices being out of reach of most was the show sold out on the first night? or are some bits still available?

Is that how much they were I guess 40k aint too bad for a piece that size. You would be needing a pretty big place to display it ;D

The prices for the canvases I think were 65K. I tried getting a box and was told they were all long gone. If someone bought one and now are having seconds thoughts, please PM me. Cheers.

went to the show today and thought it was bang on. Loved the giant canvas as you emerged from the stairs.

I was told that everything was sold pre-preview, but I'm not 100% on that though.

The canvases there were £65,000+ but looked good and quite a large scale. There was a masterpiece there omg it was brilliant that was £75,000. They must have made a good bit of cash from that show ey?

One of the things with the Faile show was that 1. where would you put the bunny boy sculpture and 2. where would you put the prayer wheels(SPINNING THINGS)? THEY WERE DIFFERENT BUT GREAT!

I get your point Linkd, the practicalities of squeezing a nine feet canvas in a house (or even a doorway). I reckon i would still have a go though!. Great show.

Amazing show. My favourite since Shepard Fairey at Truman Brewery. I was told the prints will be released next year. And, as someone else said, they won't be the same as the prints displayed on the faile website. Those are just the paste ups they've been using around London.

Went today, awesome , just awesome! Would love a prayer wheel, thought they were great, my little boy (7 months) was loving the feel of them. He definitely preferred Faile to Francis Bacon, I think it was the bright colours ;D

First up. I'm not a Faile fan. Never have been. Nor is Mrs Michael. We went on Friday, hoping to be converted. After walking bloody miles from Vauxhall tube, we finally arrived at the school...
We went in, looked around and we're still not Faile fans. Totally underwhelmed by it all. It is just too comic book for us.
But glad others have enjoyed it.
The US flag was the best piece there.
