been building up to this show for a very long time - got my pe-preview invite too.
but coz of work I can't go now and feeling a bit peeved
hope the show is ace and not a fiasco like the opus thread of today !!

Anyone going there and staying over i'd like to ask you to avoid staying at the hotel that was recommended by Ink-d when they sent out the invites (hotel nineteen)
Never been so rudely dealt with by any hotel as this one.
It looks nice from the website but please don't give them any of your money.
Ink-d gave us a much better second recommendation - my hotel brighton.

Oi Oi Looking forward to the show, can someone confirm or at least speculate on ... Is the pre preview for sale of originals before the show opens? and the preview for the sale of prints before the show opens? Only I had invites to both but decided on the later event as can't afford an original, but now i am wondering what if they sell prints at the early preview. Oh well you choose yer ticket and takes yer chances. See ye all oan Thursday.

i'll be there,
Credit card took a battering last night at the Paul Mellia show, but will attempt to throw some cash at it before next week!
Avoid the ALBERT PUB near Brighton Station, the pub with the kissing Coppers.
They've sold the original and are having a fake one put in its place.
Bycott the place!

any one know numbers for the pre - preview? the preview show is 200 right...then friday show i think will be very large turnout. print box set very interested in knowing more about also.... i will be heading down on the friday after work and looking forward to it... when i arrive be interesting to see what is left...doubt be anything but sure will be fantastic event... s

there will be a lot less than 200 at the pre-preview, which is a good job as I can't see em getting 200 in the gallery to honest, it's pretty small.

there is only 200 people for pre preview show! prices i think will be region of £1.8-£3.5k but would be more than happy if less! will be interested in getting 4-5 pieces if i can make it down early enough depending on what i like... will be filming in HD on thursday aswell as friday night so please dont shy away from interviews..lol! more on the friday that will happen when i get down there but if you want to talk about the artwork on the friday then send me PM.... i think there will be queue at the show but promises to be amazing show and anyone that can make it down just to view the art pieces sure wont be let down... in bristol at the moment and have to say seen first banksy piece of the bloke hanging down from the window and was amazed! if anyone is in brighton on the friday night looking into getting invites to few places if interested... s Whoa big spender Which one's are you hoping to get?? hey,
it is one original per person....so will look for the one that really amazes me... by friday alot will have sold i am sure but hoping they will show a few new pieces...in truth looking forward to chatting to everyone there when i arrive and just talking about art! think will be nice experience and ink_d have been really helpful so sure alot of people will be happy with the way they have done things....
4-5 has dropped down to 3 pieces but now can only get one will have to make sure i make right choice! gives me time to save up for jose parla and dface shows though! still need to get NW LTS framed also but everytime i put aside money there seems to be another show! ....wonder what themes are going to be explored at the show?
history of miss bugs... the influences - whatever is on show pretty sure it is going to be night to remember for alot of people... first solo show and sure there will be something for everybody... i still love daffy hirst art piece ...more so the street piece due to having daffy cracking through the wall...fantastic...! s

Thank you for you kind words paulypaul very much appreciated.... there are alot of fantastic people on alot of the forums and enjoy speaking about art work with all of them... i hope all that make it to the show have great time and safe trips home also.... spoke with few people before idris/CG etc and it is the people that you meet at the shows remember the most... hope to meet more friday at the show and i think alot of us are hoping for JK show some time in the uk also! have a great night!...s
