Wow,
Just got back home and my print has arrived - Lego Monster Of Spin.
Edition of 42 - with all the usual hand finishing (bright pinks, green and black with the odd white spatter on the paper) - signed by Miss Bugs and Joe Black.
Was not sure about this print when I first saw it - started to grow on me (it's been about 1 1/2 months in the making) and now..... Well....ITS AMAZING.
So chuffed......will post pictures later...when I can link my blackberry pictures to emails!
Love it to bits - great job MB and JB.... Bring on the show in Brighton next month (Friday 6th - i think!)
So happy....my first MB and IMO the best!!
Such a boys print - such a happy boy!
Anybody else had one?

How about that? Tried to do my best with the pictures - to show the hand finishing. Hope it gives you all a good idea. Do you like?

Love it, looks brilliant and I'm sure even better in the flesh. It's going to be tricky picking a frame!

Does not take long....2 are on ebay already.
Intersting, Miss Bugs said that if anybody sold quickly for a vast profit - they would never sell to them again...
My print has a message hand written on the back....
.....if you purchase of the secondary market, please inform us so we can update our ownership records......
more like, strike a flipper of the purchasing list!

Good, I think that's exactly what all artists and printhouses should be doing. These could have been sold for £300 a pop, but they were sold for just £125. Same goes for all Banksy prints which could easily be sold for £1500, but are not. I hope others take note.
This print looks the dog's danglies and I'm feeling a lot less upset about missing out on TRYHO all of a sudden. Thanks for the pics.

This is getting beyond ridiculous. This latest effort brings the current total to 3 prominent artists (and/or their PR people) milking for ££££££££'s and $$$$$$$$$$'s any connection, real or otherwise, that they may have, or have had, with Banksy. What gets me is not so much the milking of the cash-cow keyword that is Banksy, rather why each of these artists is happy to do/allow this? It's long been said that money would kill this 'scene', but who'd have thought it'd be artists themselves pulling the trigger. Wise words as always Little Bird.

Perhaps Miss Bugs don't know about that text and it is just the gallery? I tend to agree though, pointless PR, their work is good enough without silly PR...unless it's true (pretty sure not though!)

If ink_d are organising the show then surely MB is, or at least, should be aware of what's been put out about them/him/her. Unless it's a satirical statement?

Surely that's been written tongue in cheek. At least I read it that way. It must be a joke, surely. I can't see how anyone would take this seriously. Perhaps it's taking the p1ss out of the gossip-spreaders and rumour-mongers..?
