I was lucky (IMHO) and managed to pick one of the normal mickeys up from SG but i still haven't received it! Is anyone else in the same boat? I got an e-mail from Dora @ POW in the second week of Jan saying that due to a stock issue they had run out and that Bast would be signing/finishing a new batch in the coming week. It's now the middle of feb. and my e-mail to POW has gone unreplied. Am I ever going to get a Bast on my wall? Has anyone else been given a time of delivery by POW, or has the postie found a new love for slightly disturbed american graf. artists? (no offense Bast!) Cheers in advance, K

I received mine weeks ago in Jan, I'd definitely get onto them if I were you.

Got an E mail from Dora last week to say that Bast didn't have time to do them when he was over so they have had to be sent to him. Hopefully he will be sending them back soon!

Thanks buffin,
Seems ridiculous that they could have a mistake numbering a ..... limited edition print!
Was a bit disappointed by POW original e-mail which simply said, "if this is a problem we will refund your money."
Paid for this 2 months ago, when Sickboy did this with his temples he gave everyone a free print. Can't see the same happening from POW.
All i can hope for is the hand finishing being worth the wait!

Yes lets hope that he goes to town with the hand finishing to make up for it!
Hi Stuey. Great to catch up with you at long last. Unfortunately missed out on what I wanted even after 7 hours in the cold and a 3 hour coach trip. Darn that queue jumper as I would have been first batch in! Still had a great time and those beers went down very smoothly. Great show as well. Well done BRP.
The certain person we were talking to at the same time is on the case and so there is still a bit of a chance of getting what I was after.
You down for Beejoir mate?

Hey buffin, nice to meet you the other day.
Was the jumper that guy that had a young lass queue all day for him ? I was meant to be next behind him so I just got my head down and got inside, sorry I didn't want to draw any attention and miss my own chance.

Managed to get one when POW reopened on the 4th.
I emailed Dora on Friday to ask when I could expect it and she said "soon".
If they are indeed being sent over the pond to him to hand finish I'd imagine he will f**k them up really bad!
I still cant believe he wrote s**tHEAD on some.
These will probably say f**k OFF or COCK SUCKER or something!
Still, will be a major bonus to get one of these prints with the date 08 making it very rare indeed.

Agree with you on the swearing klyde.
Admittedly, POW did state that the consistancy varied but how many people want "sh1thead" on the bottom of their print.
Kinda got me thinking that their were complaints, hence he's been forced to redo them!

No mate I didn't see that guy having his lass queue for him as a problem (wish I had one like her!). It was the guy near you who had his wife and daughter turn up about an hour before and then pushed them through saying they weren't going to be buying anything. When next seen she had a big bunch of invoices in her hot sticky mitts. He was with another guy in the queue. Oh well it annoyed me at the time but a few beers and a long trip home eased the pain a little. Have you thawed out yet?

I'm sure you could have a lass like that though, looked like a professional relationship to me, just spend all your print money on your very own queue monkey. That fat flipper pissed off a few people it seems, his Mrs and daughter had been popping back and forth most of the day and when they went in I heard him say they're not buying anything they just want to get warm I didn't think he'd get away with anything that blatent and didn't see him again until later when he was moaning he couldn't get anyone to get him a print for £50. I asked why he didn't get his Mrs to do it and that's when he said they'd already bought up their share. Pity, his mate seemed O.K., came across like an old school collector and I quite liked him, now I'm not sure about his motivation either.

Still waiting for my Bast as well, just hoping that the wait / patience is rewarded with something extra special. Not worried as I too was talking to Dora and they really did want Bast to do his stuff when he was over for his show but there was just no chance, so the prints were going to be sent over to the States for him to do there. Can't be too long now.. Can it?

Just had an update from POW. The prints are back from Bast but have had to be sent away to a printer for another layer of black to be applied asap. Could be another week before they are sent out.

Mine has arrived this morning, it one of the edition of 100. It is looking very nice with a splattered background and a colourful mickey. Nothing offensive as far as I can see.
Very pleased and worth the wait.
Great now I can finally flip it -- that was joke by the way.

but if you've seen Harveyns'.. you wouldn't say that.. now that is a Mickey. So, if he could repost for the masses... ?
But have to agree that the coloured doesn't seem worth £50 more. Not wishing to tempt fate till i have seen mine though..
