Why so sad?, by mcnuts on Dec 5, 2008 12:42:08 GMT 1, **** the price of art may go down as well as up.
PLUS...Are times so tough right now that you seriously need to try and capitalise on someone's death by encouraging punters to buy a mediocre, A-level piece of art because it may go up in value? A bit sad or a bit sick. Maybe a bit both?
Am I the only one who thinks this?
Just a quick note to let you know we are quickly running out of Dave White's Why So Sad? Special edition prints. It is an edition of of 50 with 15 of these being heavily hand finished to look like the original and the other 35 also being hand finished. These prints can be seen on our website: www.opusunderground.com/artists/DaveWhite/2356With Heath Ledger tipped for a post-humous Oscar and The Dark Knight still breaking box-office records these prints could prove to be a sound investment. Regards, Opus Underground

Why so sad?, by bmjt on Dec 5, 2008 13:12:42 GMT 1, I don't even think it's A-level standard, that is pretty shocking. I echo McNuts in that it's poor form promoting art in light of someone's death, and also under the guise of financial gain. No love.
