I'm starting to put one and one together and make 3......
The first Grannies to get into the hands of the people selling on ebay were numbered 290 - 300, then a day or two later another seller receives his number 169. I've only just recieved mine today and I ordered it at about 10:40, it's number is under 50.
Soooooo I'm thinking they've posted all or nearly all out and in a backward fashion, therefore the next print maybe available very soon.
Has anyone else noticed or experienced this backward numbering thing in previous sales?

Go mine today as well. Mine is 35 which I am very chuffed with. I have noticed a couple of small dark marks on my print, on the left, can't tell whether its ink or someting has rubbed it to cause it. I have to say that is not as well protected as other POW prints that I have have had in the past. Its not major, just wandering what people reckon I should do, or am I just being picky!!

Interesting...
I always thought for the unsigned it was: 1-50 Banksy 51-150 - Barely Legal (which mine is in) 151-500 - POW

the 1-50 was merely a rumour. It would surely be highly unusual for an artist (or agent etc) to keep 50 prints, especially unsigned ones. don't believe every crackpot idea you hear. ;D Interesting... there is nothing to compare this with as there has been nothing like this before (i.e. a print selling out in an hour or so, then all being sent out over the next 4 days or so) Mine went through about 9.55m and was number 260 something, so bang goes that theory ;-) I'm starting to put one and one together and make 3...... the 1-50 was merely a rumour. It would surely be highly unusual for an artist (or agent etc) to keep 50 prints, especially unsigned ones. Actually, a few of us at the LA show heard it from the horse's mouth (so to speak). We were asking the Lazinc lady behind the desk about numbering (she was the one in charge of assigning print numbers on her little Apple Powerbook), and she told us that our prints would start at 51, because the first 50 goes to Banksy. She was a real nice lady too. The first day that the show opened to the public, she thought that all the show promo cards had been given out to them VIP tools, but she had one in her hand. When I asked her if she had any more, she asked me to step quickly into the office, and snuck her card into my bag, telling me "Shhhh!"

I think there are blindfolds and/or darts involved in the selection process

Perhaps they're sending them out in alphabetical order of buyers' names.
