They are very thin and hardly have no depth to them.

On the right side it looks like some weak light coming from the right casting shadows to the left. The small one that has the overhead light directly on it has small shallow hard shadows directly below consistent with the angle of the lighting.

Why is everyone on here so keen to question the validity of everything? (Aside from prescribing to your prescription.)
As I’ve said before, this forum compelled me to go to Bethlehem, and I absolutely wouldn’t have been otherwise. That was, in my personal opinion, a fantastic consequence of people nattering away on the internet. Which is what forums are there for.
Why, therefore, does all this implicit jealousy surrounding the authenticity of various items really take the edge off?
Believe what you will, but ultimately, why do you care?!

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by avec art on Jan 19, 2020 11:52:39 GMT 1, the point iamzero makes is a valid enough observation, but doesn't entirely stand up as the material used for the drones is matt and clearly less reflective than the polished floor.
Also it appears as though there is more than a single light source which would be expected. Where I struggle a bit is that I don't see any double shadows as a result of multiple light source.
With regards to the 'flatness' of the drones, well they've been designed like that to give a greater impression of depth than they actually have, in the same way wall ducks are designed.

Hi all, new to this forum and just been approved. Not sure I've ever been called a "desperate attention seeking clown" or "Fame hungry whore with multiple accounts to blow smoke up their own arse" before, but there's a first time for everything I guess.
Some people have speculated that I'll be selling these ASAP, but that is definitely not the case, my (now) wife and I went on one of our very first dates to the Banksy versus Bristol Museum exhibition back in 2009, so these already have a pretty sentimental meaning to us.
Also, I'm not sure why people blur out the edition number, but just thought I'd follow suit.
Nice to meet you all

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by goodfish on Jan 19, 2020 13:53:16 GMT 1, Agreed. Everyone was focusing on the "shadow" on the underside of the drone where the light was shining, not realising that shadow is painted on the drone to give the desired effect of sunlight shining from above.... you know, as drones fly in the sky with the sun above them. Looking closely you can see the shadow made by the drone onto the floor that matches the position of the light source. Haters gonna hate. The shadows falling from the wings should be cast in the direction opposite to the light source. If the white spot reflected by the floor is the only light source, then there clearly is something wrong. But maybe there is another light outside of the frame to the right, but closer than then one reflecting in the floor. In this case you could see a shadow like rhis. I think we need to know more about the layout of the room and where the lights are positioned. Can someone ask? This made me do a lol.
