He had a thread about the first book. If you find that you will be able to message him.
Hint - if you ask nicely he will sign them.

Best books, docs and Essays on the history and emergency of , by .dappy on Jun 29, 2019 21:21:12 GMT 1, ... although originally published in 2010, I understand that this is quite a good book
Expect to pay around ยฃ50 s/h, though 399pages
Beyond the Street: The 100 Leading Figures in Urban Art www.amazon.co.uk/dp/3899552903/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_XD8fDb6FHJWBN
Beyond the Street features interviews with leading artists such as Shepard Fairey, Swoon, and Os Gemeos. The book also offers the views of representatives of the most important sales outlets for street art including Deitch Projects and Jonathan LeVine Gallery. In addition, curators from auction houses such as Christie's and Phillips de Pury comment on the development of street art in a classical art context. Interviews with key commentators, collectors, and enthusiasts such as Martha Cooper, Wooster Collective, and Agnes B. provide further insight. Brought together, these separate and distinct perspectives create a uniquely authentic collective portrait of street and urban art that is captivating, informative, and entertaining. Each interview in Beyond the Street is richly illustrated with photographs of an inspiring collection of work. In addition to presenting outdoor work, the book also features the pieces that the artists have created for exhibitions and other indoor spaces. The commercial aspect of the street art movement is rigorously documented for the first time. Among the photographs featured are a number of images of the artists studios or the artists themselves at work, providing a rare glimpse into their methods and environments.--Amazon.com.

Iโve said so several times; this is my favourite street art book. Superb.

Best books, docs and Essays on the history and emergency of , by That Print Guy on Jun 29, 2019 21:36:45 GMT 1, Beautiful losers, a wonderful book and also a movie. Focuses on late 90's/early aughts, great history lesson. Get some of those early issues of juxtapoz too, first one was published in 94.
Viva la revolucion from 2010 is pretty good as well and focuses on the exhibit at San Diego MOCA and the legal pieces commissioned for the show around the city.
Oddly enough I was just in an art library with my wife who had an assignment for library research, she picked a topic I could guide her on. There are lots of books on murals, not so many on what we consider "street art".

Hi Coach , mrred11 , pellets and everyone, Thanks for recommending my books, Coach . To make life easier for myself, I've set up an online shop where both books can be purchased (signed versions are available at no extra cost, just choose from the drop-down menu). I am currently working on new material (more focused on graffiti than street art), but have no clear idea when or in what format(s) it will be published. However, I will present some preliminary findings - in the form of a 26-minute video - next week at Lisbon Street Art & Urban Creativity Conference.
