Colissimo Postage from Paris?, by Jalouse Rosemont on Mar 13, 2019 17:19:16 GMT 1, It's Collissimo International, the shipper has the tracking number since the shipping day. I shiped a tube for Brighton two weeks ago and in less than 5 days it was delivered. And the post office had problems with the delivery adress... so you can count it in this delay. Little tricks : if you are living in france, you can send books abroad for special price with the "Livre et Brochure tarif" it's a special price from La Poste for promoting french culture. Your book must be write in french and have a cultural goal. link Thanks. I was wondering should I worry after two weeks, after all, it might be OK if it was sent from the outer regions of Newfoundland, but this is Paris, less than 3 hours by Eurostar.

In my experience 2 weeks starts being too long from France to UK. Colissimo is always priority (not economy) shipping. The tracking doesn't say anything at all? I would still wait few days, but at some point the sender should contact the post and see what happened

Colissimo Postage from Paris?, by Matt on Mar 13, 2019 18:12:08 GMT 1, France to UK postal service can be quites**te. Other way around too.
Who delivers colissimo in the UK ? If Royal Mail or Parcel force, sometimes sticking the French tracking on the UK partnerโs website pops up what has been happening since package landed in the UK (explaining why Colissimo no longer sees it)
Works other way around for sure : . Parcel Force tracking is recognised by GLS who deliver Parcelforce in France...

Colissimo Postage from Paris?, by Deleted on Mar 13, 2019 18:29:49 GMT 1, Do you have the tracking number? What site are you checking its progress on? If nothing shows on the Colissimo site, have you tried the Royal Mail tracking page? All sites should show the same info but I have sometimes found that they don't. Colissimo may think its none of their business after the parcel leaves France. This happened to one of my parcels (not from France) but there was no updates after it arrived in the UK for nearly 2 weeks. I complained and, miraculously, it suddenly re-appeared on the system. Bizarre.

Colissimo Postage from Paris?, by Guy Denning on Mar 14, 2019 15:40:56 GMT 1, Hi, can anyone tell me if Colissimo does different tiers of postage internationally from Paris? Im in the UK waiting for a package from France and so far after two weeks there is no tracking and its not even arrived in the UK. Thanks. Two weeks is too long. I post a lot from rural France to the UK and it lands well inside that time. I had one problem where a piece was posted in a tube that got stuck within a machine at one of the French handling 'platforms'. Ask the sender to take their paperwork to the postie they sent it from and the post office will start the process of tracking it down themselves. The first thing they'll do is do an online tracking and if that doesn't clarify the sender can ask for an investigation for insurance purposes. That usually gets 'em moving.

Colissimo Postage from Paris?, by moron on Mar 15, 2019 13:44:10 GMT 1, If you have the correct tracking number that is showing online. One scenario is that it arrived in UK. Could not be delivered due to wrong name or address on the parcel or similar and it has been sent back to the sender in France hence the delay.

Sounds like something has gone wrong, doesn't it. I would put in a claim/query via the Colissimo website.
You may also want to try entering the tracking number here. www.17track.net/en I find 17track very informative and detailed. They even often show the fight numbers etc.

2019-03-02 00:00 Parcel platform, your parcel is being routed.
Everything seems to stop on the 2nd March and then a cold trail.

Colissimo Postage from Paris?, by moron on Mar 21, 2019 14:11:00 GMT 1, Did you check the number here ?
www.laposte.fr/particulier/outils/en/track-a-parcel
You need to get the sender to contact the Postal Service in France.
It could be that your package is held up in France because of the ongoing customs strike.

When you pay someone a substantial amount by PayPal friends and family and they won't refund you...
Would alarm bells go off in your hread?

Colissimo Postage from Paris?, by Deleted on Apr 3, 2019 12:17:47 GMT 1, How was the parcel sent? Tracked and signed for? If so, the sender can at least file a claim with Colissimo. If it has got completely lost then they should at least be able to get back the amount they put on the customs form as the value (subject to Colissimo's terms and conditions of course). You can't claim from PayPal but you should be able to claim from Colissimo.
Also, did you pay using a credit card on PayPal? Credit card payments automatically give some protection if goods do not arrive. Another avenue worth investigating.

If the shipping is indeed lost, then the seller will be refunded by the insurance, so they should refund you.
What has the seller communicated to you so far?
