THE MET VAULT SALE, by met on Feb 14, 2019 2:53:12 GMT 1, THE MET VAULT SALE
I'm sure I speak for everyone when saying that 14 February is really special. And perhaps even better — like very really special.
When considering all the opportunities Valentine's Day offers me as an entrepreneur-artist, something funny happens to my loins. At least I think they're my loins. It can be hard to tell where they actually start and where they stop, although that's beside the point. I'm going a bit off-piste here. Rest assured it's 180° intentional. The idea is to keep it real and build a rapport with target customers who appreciate the bants. Though I may need to fine-tune my off-the-cuff prepared commentary a bit, to make it sound more natural.
Anyway, taking inspiration from a couple of artistic peers and a random print house, after careful consideration, I've decided to let go of exclusive, previously-unreleased artworks. These beyond-rare rarities came to light after I mistook the control buttons on my printer for the VCR.
__________
Now, I do need to nip something in the bud and tweak the red nipple here:
A few members may recognise the images below as having been previously released by me in 2016. And, bless your beady little eagle eyes, you are 100% correct. These editions were absolutely 110% sold out years ago. Yet, rather fortuitously for all you collectors, another 10% has now been discovered. But not a single one of these new specific prints was ever previously released.
I'll switch over to the 2nd-person plural now because it sounds more professional.
Well, we are super stoked about this recent discovery. Or super juiced. Or whatever the expression is these days, that's us 120%. Actually, no. We're going all-in — make it 130%!
__________
So, let's get to the nitty-gritty.
Whether it be that one special person or those three or four special people, prove to each of your Valentines that you love them the best — by buying them an artist's proof of super-rare artwork.
The APs are unnumbered. However, before any whiners start whining and accusing us of being dodgy, please note the following:
We truly love what we do. And we do it for love. We are 140% committed and have always been 150% transparent. We categorically confirm that the number of APs will never, ever exceed 10%. Whether that be 10% of the regular edition (rounding up to the nearest whole number) or 10% of the number we're currently thinking of, whichever is higher.
1. That One from the HR Department with all the Self-Help Books and Teddy Bears on her Desk was Right...! (I), 2016 Signed inkjet / giclée / archival pigment print on 75gsm paper Artist's Proof Sheet dimensions: 210 x 297 mm Price: £800
2. That One from the HR Department with all the Self-Help Books and Teddy Bears on her Desk was Right...! (II), 2016 Signed inkjet / giclée / archival pigment print on 75gsm paper Artist's Proof Sheet dimensions: 210 x 297 mm Price: £800
3. That One from the HR Department with all the Self-Help Books and Teddy Bears on her Desk was Right...! (III), 2016 Signed inkjet / giclée / archival pigment print on 75gsm paper Artist's Proof Sheet dimensions: 210 x 297 mm Price: £400 Bonus: As with the regular edition, each buyer will also receive a YouTube link to the incredible song, My Heart Will Go On, by Canadian national treasure, Celine Dion.
__________
Please also contact us regarding availability of the following additional, extremely limited, unnumbered proofs. As already set out above with 160% clarity, not one of these sets of proofs will ever, never exceed 10%:
- PPs (printers' proofs); - PPs (publisher's proofs); - TPs (trial proofs); - TPs (test prints); - HCs (hors de commerce); - BATs (bon à tirer); - HRPs (hand-rubbed proofs); - HPMs (hand-painted multiples); - ARGHPMs (actually-rather-good-hand-painted multiples); - VIPPs (very-important-person prints); - VVIPPs (very-very-important-person prints); - ICPs (inner-circle prints); - ICPPs (inner-circle-periphery prints); - EBPs (early-bird prints); - NOPs (night-owl prints); - SPs (secret proofs); - SSPs (special-sauce proofs); - SMIPs (social-media-influencer prints); - TEABPs (throw-'em-a-biscuit prints); - FPPs (forum-patsy prints); and - OUIPs (other-useful-idiot prints).
NB: If we discover that anybody is buying these, listing them on eBay and threatening the viability of our future vault sales, we will make a very big deal — both here and on social media — about cancelling their order.
We only want to sell to true fans. Not to flippers, who have no respect for the art and sometimes even try to undercut the prices of our own eBay listings.
__________
Thank you very much to you, the genuine collectors who support us and who are not elitists or haters.

THE MET VAULT SALE, by sfnyc on Feb 14, 2019 3:00:59 GMT 1, Nice parody, i guess you have your stories with GP. Personally the one i hate the most is angelo from studiocromie, so unprofessional that it would almost be funny if so many artworks were not damaged / destroyed by this wannabe

THE MET VAULT SALE, by gd79 on Feb 14, 2019 11:48:18 GMT 1, I bloody hate it when these things get released so close to market value. You've barely left any room to flip these onwards. And where are the gold silkscreen or printed on copper or diamond dust editions?

We are 140% committed and have always been 150% transparent. We categorically confirm that the number of APs will never, ever exceed 10%. Whether that be 10% of the regular edition (rounding up to the nearest whole number) or 10% of the number we're currently thinking of, whichever is higher. 1. NB: If we discover that anybody is buying these, listing them on eB ay and threatening the viability of our future vault sales, we will make a very big deal — both here and on social media — about cancelling their order. We only want to sell to true fans. Not to flippers, who have no respect for the art and sometimes even try to undercut the prices of our own eB ay listings. __________ Thank you very much to you, the genuine collectors who support us and who are not elitists or haters. First come, first served. Forum members can send us a private message for our PayPal details. Thought was another new business after art neuvea under the gp flag at first.. Do not get glicees cheaper and less man hours to produce than screen prints yet priced the same and more galleries using the medium and priced so high .

THE MET VAULT SALE, by tab1 on Feb 16, 2019 21:07:46 GMT 1, THE MET VAULT SALEI'm sure I speak for everyone when saying that 14 February is really special. __________ Now, I do need to nip something in the bud and tweak the red nipple here: A few members may recognise the images below as having been previously released by me in 2016. __________ So, let's get to the nitty-gritty. Whether it be that one special person or those three or four special people, prove to each of your Valentines that you love them the best — by buying them an artist's proof of super-rare artwork. The APs are unnumbered. However, before any whiners start whining and accusing us of being dodgy, please note the following: We truly love what we do. And we do it for love.
