I had one in the 90s the kids used to make me wait round the corner when picking them up Ha! Me too (but in 1973). Mine was a 1600cc one in Medina green (?). Picked it from Crimble's Ford in Staines. It was a company car โฆ.. when I went to pick the car up, they asked which colour I'd like. I pointed at a pale blue one with vinyl on the roof but they wouldn't let me have it as it was the 3 litre version and outside the budget I'd been given. I think the registration number was UPF 914M or something like that.

London in the 1970s, by Gunny on Oct 5, 2018 10:15:43 GMT 1, That's a cracking Capri! I had two in my time, a sky blue one with a big 'S' on the side and a black one. I even remember the registration of the black one and I have had a lot of cars in my time. Happy days although they always seemed to clap out from time to time!

London in the 1970s, by ak1 on Oct 5, 2018 12:34:25 GMT 1, Minder is my all time favourite TV show and I never get bored with watching the box set! Most of the cars especially from the Terry McCann years are now classics and, although I've no connection with London whatsoever, its great to see how it used to look like! Both the Capri that Denis Waterman drove and George Cole's Jag, came up for auction a while back. Well over my budget for a classic but what a piece of Minder history.
