Hi farmergeddon believe the leatherette is done free hand although not sure how - suspect a lot of skill involved.
Nuart you are correct about it being a Nick Walker piece, called New Girl. This was piece that brought Nick's work to my attention, I am lucky enough to wake up each morning to her and White Panties.
Leatherette has popped up on and off in Nick's work over quite a few years. The doors he has done are great although not sure what happened to the ones in Il Bordello in Bristol after it shut!! Anyone know?

thanks for the link just taken a look... really liking the letters. What is Il Bordello? Is it a gallery or a massage parlour?

Yeah, I think Hutch has a similar feel to some of Nick Walkers work ;D But I also think he even edges a bit towards Faile and Insect at times ;D I really hope we see loads more new stuff from Hutch over the coming year.

I dont think it is fair to comment. Alot of the stuff off POW is crap but printed well. The hutch stuff looks great and is printed really well - and his originals are even better. plus he will wrap them with care for you. Keep with it silk. Im a massive hutch fan and cant wait for his new print (I think the hutch fans know what its going to be of!) J

you have to admit that it's no-where near as good as some of his other stuff and that it's a bit pricey for what it is.........£200 could by you some pretty f**kin mindblowing art.

I have got a Hutch 'Shooting Colour' canvas which cost me seventy quid and it is a great piece. Why did Hutch become a whipping boy for this forum. It is un-called for.

Don't get me wrong Hutch's stuff is cool. But to put him on a par with Walker is sheer folly IMO. Walker has a body of work that has been produced from 20 years at the top of his game. I hope Hutch fulfils his potential
But untill you've checked out Nick's Luxury FX graff you havn't lived it's absolutely unreal. All freehand it's unbelievably three dimensional.
Mred very very envious, that piece is killer.
And I'll stand corrected but the Il Bordello was a trendy private members club frequented by the like's of 3D and his showbiz mates alledgedly.
I know some will say I'm biased, but don't neg me, lets have a reasoned debate and post your Hutch pieces.

Didn't mean to turn this into a Hutch versus Nick Walker debate, just wanted so share my stockings and leatherette with you!!
As BCFC says it would be good to see some pictures of Hutch's work both new and old, I for one don't know much about him. I have seen what is on his website and I think a couple of canvases a few years ago in Brighton. As said above prefer my legs to Hutch's although like some of his subject matter particularly his fallen rock stars. Showing my age a bit.
Reference Il Bordello, BCFC said "Il Bordello was a trendy private members club frequented by the like's of 3D and his showbiz mates alledgedly.", I think that is what they were hoping it would be BCFC but in reality it was not so grand or exclusive, I occasionally met up with friends there and seemed unless something special was happening, which was not very often, you could normally get in without being a member just had to name drop occasionally ;D ;D, To be honest shame it did not succeed as had really chilled vibe and good beers and crew. Also had good exhibitions and music, Nick Walker showed his work there a few times. Think it closed about a year ago, so was wondering if anyone knew what happened to the mural Nick did in the toilet area as well as his leatherette door. Would be shame if they were simply painted over or dumped, have not got any pictures not sort of thing can get away with - taking pictures in the toilet. Did anyone take any photos or know what happened to them?
Mr Ed

Glad I threw in my alledgedly.
Apologies if people felt i was trying turn this into a hutch vs walker thread, that certainly wasn't my intention.
