Of course you are not allowed to make and sell prints of images that are someone else's intellectual property. Clearly copyright infringement. Yeah clearly. But it's more complicated than that with Banksy isn't it? Does he go after people selling reproductions of his work? If the creator of the art doesn't give as**t how it's used then is it illegal? No, it isn't more complicated than that. It is copyright infringement any way you try to spin it. From a moral standpoint you should not be asking yourself whether you can get away with stealing someone else's work, but rather whether it is the right thing to do (hint: it isn't).
Can somebody who understands this concept please contribute? I wouldn't be looking to personally gain from selling these screen prints. There all over everywhere, why would someone buy yours over the countless other options? West County Prince makes high quality ones, low quality cheap ones are all over eBay.. the markets covered.

Unethical at the very least and downright wrong on so many levels. Certainly the wrong place to float this type of bullshit idea. Unethical enough to sell fakes, but ethical enough give the money to charity ( after expenses  ) having a laugh indeed.
Go back to the drawing board and work at an idea rather than trying to milk someone else's efforts.

But seriously, have you thought about seeing what you have locally regarding taggers and graffiti artists and see if they can come up with something fresh, stencil, or taggy, paste ups or a mix of stencil and freehand or whatever that could be made into a half decent looking print. If it's to do with a local campaign like homeless or hospitals or old people or animals etc you could get local media exposure and probably even do a kickstarter or indiegogo raise enough money to produce the prints for people who donate and put their name down, plus it would also give exposure to a new artist.
Just be a bit creative and use what local resources you have.
If after all that you just want to sell some Banksy art. Just buy some of those pre cut plywood stencils of banksy art from ebay. Spray up a few bits of cardboard and canvases and stuff. Set up a table on a saturday market shopping day with a sign saying not by Banksy whilst wearing a monkey mask and there will always be some who buy.

On top of that, this what is so wrong with the contemporary art scene. Iโm passionates about prints and the medium itself and its different teccniques. But overall, people turn to screenprinting or digital printing because itโs a money printing press without a huge effort (obviously differs widely from one artist to the other and its involvement in the process).
So basically you might as well just by an high quality inkjet printer and do whatever,

Regarding making knock off Banksy screen prints.
Where do you draw the line? Do you put them on Ebay with a vague description to get a better price or do you sell them from your gallery, where guaranteed no real collector will buy them.
You say you care about the artists but it seems only on your terms. It takes a lot of time and effort to set up a gallery and it's certainly not easy money.

My view was that if you bought those pre cut stencils off of ebay you could knock up a few on bits of corrugated carboard and sell them for a quid or two each on a market. People have sprayed using the stencils onto pre stretched canvas, but as banksy himself proved in NY. He didn't sell many when he sold at low prices. Regarding making knock off Banksy screen prints.
