I dont want to piss on anyones fire but the Neate show looks alot better put together than this current Warhol vs Banksy . The neate show looks like its up with the faile NY show. Cant wait to see it.

I dont want to piss on anyones fire but the Neate show looks alot better put together than this current Warhol vs Banksy . The neate show looks like its up with the faile NY show. Cant wait to see it. er thats a no brainer... The Neate show is far better as its all new work and its is his own show. The Warhol V Banksy show is far removed from being a proper Banksy show, its all old work, some is just prints we have all seen before and some is stolen off the street. (in fact my Applause and Jack and Jill looked better than the two they have at Hospital IMO). When banksy does exhibitions he puts in a lot more effort and thought and they contain new work.... Ie the Elephant in the room or all the rats running around at Crude Oils. To compare the two shows is unfair IMO It is however nice to see some work up close. ;D |

Pppahhh! No chance of the stencil being a real banksy, someone sent me a picture of it.  My mate was there yesterday and said Tourists were queing up to take pics of it. Its a real shame a lot of people think this is a banksy official show and that might be a Banksy stencil (god Forbid!)... I think he might have a few more things to say rather than Marilyn's head... |

Is it just me or is it pretty sickening that somebody has actually been arsed to fraudently put a stencil on the pavement as part of a shameless promotion for the gallery, and then the gallery put a frame round it and a description. I mean it is ultimately, utter s**te, I feel sorry for the poor bastards taking photos of it thinking that it was himself.
