I was thinking the same. Bought a painting from his show at Signal Gallery. That must have been, what, 7 or 8 years ago?
Dale was an active member here some time ago too.
Have had the good fortune to meet him a couple of times. He's a gentleman.

Someone here gave me one of his prints years ago, its dark as you like but its a great piece! And a very kind gift!

Not met him, but from what he supports and posts on FB i would guess hes a good bloke. Someone here gave me one of his prints years ago, its dark as you like but its a great piece!
