Hi All

Well, if you are like me and tried to buy one of the recent 10 canvases from Graffiti Prints and were disappointed then let me tell you about how close I was....

So the one I really wanted and had been waiting for months for was the Number 6 (green) - at the allotted time I went on to the site and added the print to my cart... i even got to the paypal payment page and thought 'Fantastic' but no payment was taken and after a couple of conversations with the shop there seems to have been a 'glitch' and as such .... I missed out :-(

So here is an image of the prints (not the green as they have been taken off)




If you bought one of these for profit and are not looking to have it long term then a request - I'm your man to sell it to!

I love this canvases and will take any of the edition - so if you can PM me with what you are looking for then I will guess I have to pay a premium but please PM me with a price.

 More like the Instant pre-sale!  Was total malarky going that morning NYC time as some pieces went from coming soon to straight sold out.  Weak but awesome image too bad only a handful were really sold online!  Complete Joke Greedy Prints

While many of them did go straight to sold out, I did manage to buy one by just f5ing. So, some really were available.

It's all good!  No worries Wear!  Just strange that the lower editions went straight to sold out.  Not saying all of them were pre-sold but the red for sure was.  For example I was able to add a purple to my cart then it was snatched away!  Like I said I wish it was a good old fashioned bun fight is all!  Congrats to all that scored!

I agree with all comments....

9 uk time and lots just went to sold out.

Funny thing was it said once you had it in your cart you had 10 mins to complete the purchase.... That didn't seem to happen!

I bloody love the prints and really am sad that I didn't get one and would love to have the chance to purchase one even if it is at a premium!

I had the same green version checked out but it was sold out bythe time I entered my paypal info...

I also had the green edition /6 carted, but again PayPal transaction did not go through.  I guess with such a small release they were bound to go fast, but still I find it a little strange that we were all able to cart the same edition /6, but all other editions were marked as sold out within a millisecond.

So there was 10 color ways each edition of 6? Thought there was only 10 total unique ones so I didn't even bother trying lol

There was 10 canvases each had a different colour palet for the spots and the water next to the mouth.

Beautiful .... Hope they are hanging on people's walls and not stored for profit.

How come everyone went for green?

I believe over 10 people carted No 6, i was one of them too that went through PayPal then nothing! When contacted them, they had no idea what happened!

Funny thing was that this is the one inactually wanted rather than what I'd heard which is that this was one of only 2 still showing as unsold at 1 minute after the allotted time to buy!'

Strange ..... I don't understand how all the other canvases went.... I'd like to believe it was fair to all!

Add me to the list. I could type word for word op's experience. Clicked the final PayPal pay button and it just said "your crt is empty start shopping".

Something is f'd on their site, because it says you no longer have the 10 minute to check out option, and someone else may beat you to payment. For whatever reason all the others didn't allow multiple people to try to race to checkout(maybe they were all pre sold as speculated) but green allowed 10 people to attempt it. Frustrating but whatever, it's a dog with rainbow spots, not the end of the world.

we know graffiti prints come on here. The same coding would have been used for all canvases yet no 6 kept open for a while. when I was trying to get one I went through the colours and after 20 secs 4 had sold out all at the same time but it takes longer than 20 secs to do the checkout process.  graffiti prints just confirm to all that there were no presales done....... after all it is your reputation involved here.

Yup. same thing happened to me with the green. I refreshed every second for about 8 minutes and was able to add to my cart, paid via payal, and said my cart was empty. I was crestfallen! At least I wasn't the only one! I was hoping to add to the 8 canvases I have - but still looking for Spot Remover and still have some to trade if anyone is looking

not sure why, 8 went online i kept 1 & 2 for shows in the future.

no.8 was the last normal one to check out at 3.03, no.6 at 3.08, so my guess on no.6 is someone carted and bought quick.

payment did not process and it was added back into stock and it was then that people were able to cart and one checked out.

the irony is i have now cancelled no.6 as i realised it was someone i 1000000% don't want to sell too for various reasons.

so i will lottery it to the people who missed out if you email [e-mail] i will pull the draw in the morning from emails inc the ones i have already received.

he also bought a print and we cancelled a few orders on to people i know just buy to flip so inc if you want a print there's 4 up for grabs.

Thank you Graffiti Prints for coming on here and explaining your side of the issue.
Many of us understand that you are in a unique position because you are an active forum member who runs an online gallery that also represents several forum artists like FAKE & Kunstrasen.  It seems that you are often in a no win situation when releasing art.  You could have easily let this thread just go unanswered and instead you faced the problem head on.

if I emailed you at 3:10 asking wtf am I good or should I send another email?  I guess it's fair that the people that emailed right away talking about number 6 have a case, would be too random for someone to make up 10 mins after the on sale. And Would be extra cheeky if people now all of the sudden email saying "me too" ha

Thank you for taking the time to reply.... I guess everyone just wants it to be fair and feel like they have a shot.... Also perhaps limiting to one per cart in future would be better?
