Cancer needs to be beaten
Quote: English actor David Schneider added: “It’s truly like God’s put an intern in charge of deaths and he’s going through the list of celebrities people really love. RIP Terry Wogan.”

RIP Sir Terry wogan, by chads007 on Jan 31, 2016 12:29:54 GMT 1, Grew up watching him in the 80s/90s as my father loved his show and I became a fan as a kid. Great broadcasting talent, did a tremendous amount for charity. How many more greats fall in January¿ Rip.

RIP Sir Terry wogan, by Deleted on Feb 1, 2016 11:23:21 GMT 1, I wrote to Terry when I was an idiot of a student ( all those years ago ) having been influenced by the letters of Henry Root: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hoax_letter_writers
I asked him if he could settle a ( fictitious ) argument I was having with my mum. Could he tell us whether his hair was real, or did he wear a wig? And could we have a signed photo. He duly obliged, and told us his hair was all his.
RIP

It says so much about the man's character, doesn't it?
One can imagine the wide spectrum of possible reactions to such cheeky provocation. Insecure, petty or diva-like individuals would possibly take it personally and respond in a defensive, curt manner. Or even escalate the situation and lash out with a rude reply. Terry Wogan, on the other hand, humoured you, took it all as a professional, and apparently in good humour. Just a playful exchange between two people.
