Pop-Up Event - Old Vic Tunnels - Leake Street - This Sunday 5th July, by 11 on Jun 30, 2015 14:07:53 GMT 1, Parlee-Erz just popped up on insta to announce a pop-up event this Sunday in Leake St (the Old Vic Tunnels) in order to raise money for Cancer related charities. There are going to be 60+ artists in attendance so is set-up to be a fantastic day-out and for a very worthy causeย

I have to say Parlee and the rest of that crew are putting some cracking pieces up around London at the moment so there will be something for everyoneย
The least organised, shortest notice events are always the best so this is definitely worth a look if you are in London - and you get to soak up all that fresh graffiti as well.ย

Im still wheezy from the fumes - I couldn't catch it properly but this wasn't haze from sunlight, it was the plume bellowing from the tunnels - it still doesn't come out well but there was a steady stream of smoke.....

The tunnels were absolutely packed with artists and spectators and it was a crowd participation event - as Commissioner's pics show - the tables of cans were available to buy and if you could find a free wall or bit of road away you went. This was the youngest artist that I saw - his assistants didn't seem to be up to much and didn't even have any good drugs to hand .....

It was a great afternoon out and although plenty of pieces were complete there were so many more 'in progress' and some strips of wall just taped off waiting for the artists to start. Ive got a few snaps and will try and keep it to those that were complete or thereabouts as I'm sure others that were there later on in the afternoon will have even better shots to share.
I'm gonna unleash a few photos now so if you're 'Recent Posts' kinda guy you might want to try something different and switch to 'Active Threads' for a bit (especially if you're on a mobile data account)
