Hi dappy, it's on grey heavyweight card, its about 75cm squared, stamped, signed and numbered of 4, and yes i used the photo provided by stolen space as i havent received it yet!
I paid just over a grand for it and was just wondering what people thought, overpriced muggings or shrewd investment?

this is only ed 4no (steel) but would be interested to see if it called AP/PP of Test proof ...

investment ... who knows? ... it prob looks v nice in the flesh, being on something different , ie grey card and the print/colours are top notch and bright for this image

Ah thanks for the info dappy, its a P/P and yeah in the flesh the colours are super lush and really pop with the grey card background! Was gunna white box mount frame it, will look the bollox i reakon! =)

I have a Ha Ha Ha Not So Superman Now of brown card (Trial Proof) float mounted in a white box - floated mainly to show off the deckled edge - although yours look straight edged so you could go either way - I like a bit of floating anyway ... GL - yours should really pop ...

Hey Stolen Space is selling the canvas from Moniker for 21000£ so anything goes i guess !

If you bought the print because you like it : well done, I'm sure it will look fab framed up !

As for the DFace Lichtensteins…I'm getting very tired, and I'm a hardcore DFace fan ! To me it makes how older stuff all the more appealing in the 1k range

I quickly learned that you should not buy art with the intention of making money. If you love the image and can justify spending the money needed to acquire it then buy it. Lovely dface by the way.

It is funny as on the website it is hung wrong. D*Face signed them the wrong way (you can tell by the way her tear is falling). Yet at his recent LA show he hung the painting the same way with the tear floating sideways. Now I just think it is a joke he keeps continuing.

On a side note this person who sold this was only a few behind me... LOL
