Hey guys.

I just got the presale info for a new show Blek is doing this week in NYC.

Blek le Rat | Escaping Paris - An Exhibition at the Quin Hotel, Presented in Collaboration With New York Academy of Art - Opening October 8th, Curated by DK Johnston

The Quin hotel welcomes Blek le Rat as its artist in residence this fall with an exhibit titled, "Blek le Rat | Escaping Paris." Curated by DK Johnston, the exhibit features 10 large-scale original Blek le Rat paintings, as well as an edition of 25 unique multiples and lithography the artist is creating at the New York Academy of Art during his tenure. This ambitious exhibition of monotypes and lithography is the result of the artist's collaboration with the team at NYAA. Presented through the Quin Arts program, Blek le Rat's latest show opens with an invitation-only reception and artist salon at the Quin on October 8th and will be on display during fall 2014.

The presale is no images yet, and the lithos are 5 editions of 20, then there are monoprints and HPM's. Prices are 300 for the lithos up to 4000 for the multiple image HPMs

Edit: apparently the opening reception is RSVP, but all you have to do is join up on FB.

The 5 prints (ed of 20 at $300) are: The Violinist, Alex w violin, Alex w guitar, Tango dancers, Ballet dancer also all of these have monotype versions of 5 (at $2500)

Obama is a 20 unique spray painted background edition (at $1500), and there are various multi image HPM prints (at $4000).

Definitely gonna support Blek, thanks for info. Will be there to view the master stencil artist new works. Let us know if more preview images surface.

Got myself a Tango Dancers as I always wanted one, wish they had done the Beggar to. Cant complaint great price for a very small edition.

I like everything about Blek. His art his stencils, personality and he still makes affordable editions.

If this was by a Norwegian, with 5 colorways, it would be sold out in under 5minutes. But by a legend, mehhh. I find the irony amusing. A cow is a much more desirable image.

Solid info, zero drama and lots of affordable prints ended up in members hands

Still debating whether to go to the event Weds (had my print shipped) but I imagine he'll be stenciling rats, which would be worth the train ride.
