What else do you collect?, by Spenie on Dec 29, 2016 23:03:27 GMT 1, I vacillate between a few different hobbies. The first is game-worn NHL hockey memorabilia. My favorite player as a kid was Olli Jokinen from Finland. My collection can be viewed at hockeyandart.weebly.com The other collection is watches. Right now, my collection consists of one watch: An Omega Speedmaster Reduced (Automatic). I have owned a vintage Rolex in the past as well as an Omega Seamaster. Really like Glasshutte and Lange & Sohne but cannot afford one. Maybe a pre-owned Navitimer or IWC at some point. I get the watches, my holy grail was an Omega Seamaster PO which i've had for a few years , I then got a Panerai and thought it would stop at that, got a G-Shock, then a Swatch and then a Breitling Avenger Seawolf II, hopefully thats it for a while. I've recently found a love for mens fragrances and started to get a nice little collection going, features mainly Creed and the Tom Ford private blends. Once a collector always a collector of something .

Maybe pick up a pre-owned Breitling Navitimer at some point. Maybe a vintage Rolex again. Really like Zenith as well....expensive world this! Save

What else do you collect?, by Deleted on Dec 30, 2016 12:40:33 GMT 1, Impressive. And there was me thinking I collected the oldest things on here. You've out done me by a few hundred years, sir. Ah Coach you charmer. I love your illuminated manuscript collection. The oldest thing I actually own (which is currently hanging around my wife's neck) is a greek tetradrachm from about 500 BC! Beautiful it is.
Those Thors hammers are great. I found something similar a small bronze object but can't decide if its north european solar cult or African as it has the solar spirals as part of the decoration.
Oldest sculpture I have is circa 1800 BC, plus some Song dynasty jade.

What else do you collect?, by Snakes on Dec 31, 2016 15:08:02 GMT 1, I collect Viking artefacts, here are a few of my Thor hammers. All about 9 -11th century AD. I've got quite a few other bits and bobs too. I've been waiting to get a proper display case etc for them. I never realised Vikings were so small compared to us all today.

Some favourite collectables of mine. Both pretty rare๐. I'm not even a cricket fan but Shane Warne just cracks me up every time

What else do you collect?, by karibo on Apr 30, 2017 11:56:55 GMT 1, Silas Martin: James Jarvis Backstory? Before I was introduced to prints and art, I was primarily a comic and toy buyer. This was the first complete set I bought in Soho all those years ago!!! I've been posting more pictures recently because I'm trying to as much as possible create an inventory of what's hidden in numerous storage boxes in my home.

Favourite comic book character?

I was always more mainstream marvel / wolverine.
Had the pleasure of meeting Stan Lee at comicon a few years back. Can't believe he is 94.
