OS GEMEOS - THE OTHER SIDE - FS, by kbfrombk on Feb 10, 2014 22:35:37 GMT 1, But nevertheless felt compelled to post? An observation rather than an opinion on the subject. Don't think I added anything to the thread to make it any more or any less boring You may not think so but hey that's an opinion rather than fact ;-)

OS GEMEOS - THE OTHER SIDE - FS, by gorkie on Feb 10, 2014 22:54:14 GMT 1, How about splitting the fees? 'win-win' for both parties, especially the person flipping it? Isn't the most that ebay charges for selling something on ebay these days $250.00 max?
Pretty sure that is the case these days. Even if you sell a $50,000 item I am pretty sure the max for eBay's cut is $250.00.

Indeed, allegedly. Only recently found this out.

OS GEMEOS - THE OTHER SIDE - FS, by kbfrombk on Feb 10, 2014 23:02:19 GMT 1, Pretty amazing I guess I've not had very much experience selling high-value items! I always assumed their 9%-ish rate was across the board. Nice to hear different!

OS GEMEOS - THE OTHER SIDE - FS, by mmmike on Feb 10, 2014 23:37:21 GMT 1, What collector in their right mind will actually not protect the value of their collection? One who isn't just in it for the money or one who realizes neither positive or negative comments on here will have any lasting effect on prices.
We are taking about prints here. Let's get some perspective in the art world prints are more like souvenir posters than original art. They almost never do well as an investment in the long run (50 years plus).
Enjoy the print. If you make some money on it great if not, that's life.
