Street art / Graffiti car question, by Neverwork on Apr 3, 2014 18:00:28 GMT 1, that remi's nice mate don't trade it in!, same boat bud, i'd have to sell the house (and everything else) to get one of those, but i agree its a cracking motor, had the opportunity to play around in a pals r8 which is based on the gallardo last year, nice motor but he had so many after sales issues he sold it back (at a huge loss) and would never buy another. money can buy all sorts of fancy sh*t but happiness, that's another matter!
the lambo's up for sale on jamesedition atm 475K, from the site: "November 2013, Toys For Boys Miami - Prive Boutique, commissioned to have artist Jona Cerwinske paint a brand new 2013 Lamborghini Aventador Roadster during Art Basel Miami. The car recieved a masssive amount of attention during the acclaimed Art Basel event and was present at numerous art instalations since then. Traditionally, artisans have chosen to wrap vehicles prior to painting or wrap the car in a preexisiting design. The goal of this project was to use the Brand New $500,000 Lamborghini Aventador as a true, unadultered canvas. If the buyer wishes they can request to have Cerwinske paint the last strokes (About 3-5 hours) at their location of choice. The car is Brand New and in immaculate condition. Ready for your living room wall or the streets of Dubai. The car can be viewed for inspection at Toys For Boys Miami or at Lamborghini Palm Beach. " take it easy... Can't see them taking my little Remi in part exchange so as they say on Dragons Den As side from lack of cash "I'm out"!!! However I do wish I was in!! That's a stunning motor

Street art / Graffiti car question, by Deleted on May 15, 2014 14:20:40 GMT 1, Hi wh282,
All the pics posted show my work mainly done way back when.
Yes I did the Budweiser job for Knut in England.
He asked me to update the old body and I extended the rear of the body building up and extending the back end then making a mould. Chopping off the back of the car body which back then was fibreglass. Fixing the mould back onto the body and laminating Inside the mould the extended rear of the car then re laminating it to make an invisible join.
Knut left it to me for the paint design so I painted it the dark grey and the red and white which he was happy with the result.
The Budweiser and other lettering on the car are those computer cut stickers. I only did the body modifications and the paint job.
I still do a bit of custom work but in France their idea of sport down here is bull fighting which aint my thing.

Nice Ploppi. He's retired now and l guess loans the funny car to the motor museums in speyer/sinsheim, Germany, for display. So your work lives on!
