 Inspired by Warhol

Canvas - 60 x 60 cm.
3 layers.

This image is strongly inspired by Andy Warhol. It pictures Ingrid Espelid Hovig, who is a Norwegian television chef and author of cook books. Through appearances on her cooking show Fjernsynskjψkkenet over 26 years, between 1970 and 1996, she came to be considered the "culinary mother" of Norway.

I'm thinking of making it into an edition of 5 with blue background, and in addition 2 x 5 with another background color.

Sorry for the crappy phone cam picture.

I think it's safe to say Run Pig Run isn't your target audience.

That is to say, he's not a fifty year old Norwegian cooking enthusiast who moonlights as a pop art collector.

True :)
but my intension with the posting on this forum was more to get some constructive criticism in terms of technical execution, to get some feedback on what I can be better on..

Blue background - edition of 5 (+1 AP).
Two pieces sold for NOK 2.500 (approx £250) at KAOS Gallery, Bergen, Norway.

Great success :)
