Hey Guys

Just found this image, the original picture of the flower trower by banksy. Thought it was pretty cool, id never seen the image before.

That's not the original image... just a guy throwing something!

I think the original was taken from the '68 Paris riots. But I could be wrong.

There was a thread quite a while ago collecting all these images together. Must admit I don't remember seeing the LIITA one though.

I love that magazine, i can just image banksy sitting with a cup of tea reading that artmagazine, reading the headline and thinking, 'i cant believe these morons actually buy this s**t' haha

I Can't find a picture of it here on the web but i'm pretty sure banksy's balloon girl is taken from the heinz held photograph from the 1960s .It's in the 20th century photography book from the museum ludwig cologne if anyone has a copy, my scanner's not working .

I'd be really interested in seeing the original LIITA if anyone can uncover it. The first time I saw it, it had the feeling of being an iconic image of someone throwing a molotov cocktail that i'd seen many times before... I must have been wrong though as I don't remember seeing the source image since.

the missus took the above snap, always found it interesting to see the green paint on his nail matches exactly the green of the monkey stencil at Cans, and the only "Banksy" piece which doesnt have a tag, maybe this "feud" in all smoke and mirrors??
